Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used on the Becca's Bubbles website, why we use them, and how you can control them.
1.What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, letting a website remember small pieces of information on your device. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others, like analytics, are optional and only used if you agree.
2.How we ask for consent
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or reject analytics cookies. Until you click Accept, no analytics or tracking scripts are loaded at all. If you click Reject, the site stays completely tracking-free. You can change your choice at any time using , which is also in the website footer.
3.Cookies and storage we use
| Cookie / Storage name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|
beccas-bubbles-cookie-consent | Becca's Bubbles | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, and when, so the banner doesn't reappear | Strictly necessary Local storage | Until you clear your browser storage |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Stores a unique visitor ID so Clarity can recognise return visits | Analytics Only if you accept | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Links multiple page views into a single session recording | Analytics Only if you accept | 1 day |
CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies the first time Clarity saw this visitor across sites using Clarity | Analytics Only if you accept | 1 year |
MUID | Microsoft | Identifies unique browsers visiting Microsoft services, used by Clarity | Analytics Only if you accept | 1 year |
Microsoft Clarity helps us see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, where people click and how far they scroll, so we can improve it. It doesn't collect form entries, and we've told Clarity not to use your data for advertising. Read Microsoft's privacy statement for more.
4.How to clear or block cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean the cookie banner appears on every visit.
